Pesto Sauce

Try it on pizza. It's a pleasant change from tomato sauce. Or make it a little thinner and pour it over pasta. Ingredients

1 large bunch of fresh basil
3 toes of garlic
3 tablespoon fresh grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup olive oil

Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend until well mixed and smooth. If sauce is too thick, add a little boiling water to thin.

NOTE:

This is also good using melted butter in place of the olive oil.
